2) Interview "2 or 3" Real Estate Agents
All Realtors are not the same. Each one of us has his/her own opinions, experiences and specialties. Some have many years of real estate experience. However, experience, as an example, is NOT the last thing to rule out of being the Best Realtor to select.
I would like you think of it this way. You may see many professional careers such as doctors, lawyers, etc. Some are young doctors/lawyers and have less years of experience but they are successful in what they do. That is because they've dedicated themselves "CAN DO PERSON" to the project . They must be very positive attitudes to overcome anything. The "Can Do" is not just the word, it shows in their happy personality. Personally, I live my life this way all of my life and this might be a reason why I am spiritually gifted to guide many lives to the right directions. Therefore, I have trained my agents including clients and fans who work for me around the world to be this type of positive person in all areas.
Enthusiasm and Honesty are also to determine because seller has to work with your selected realtor to get it closed. Communication and Team Work between seller and your selected realtor is also another important factor.
3) What is your reason to selling home?
Many times seller discloses too much info to buyer such as relocation, divorce, financial difficulty, etc. For me, you are speaking your negative stories. I understand your issue, but this affect your energy to get Top Dollar on your home. You need the positive uplifting agent to protect your interests and things you should not say. 4) Do some "Home Shopping" Yourself to get some ideas
It is always a good idea for seller to play a role of buyer to be. Go out there to those open houses or look on general website to get some idea for estimate pricing and then compare e.g. floor plans, upgrades, conditions, locations, other features, etc.
Remember, if you're serious about getting your home sold fast and Top Dollar. My mindset is everything, for example, your home a unique desirable features that other does not have, then stand on the way you believe, it is always good idea to leave a room for negotiation.
